The state Department of Children and Family Services is investigating Monday’s death of a five-month-old boy on the Near South Side.
John Harrison Jr. was found unresponsive at his home in the 2900 block of South State Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at 7:46 p.m. at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center.
