Police say an intoxicated California man was charged New Year’s Day after he stole a golf cart packed with champagne and tried to drive 74 miles to his house, Fox40.com reported.

John Vishion, 46, attempted to drive from Angels Camp to Citrus Heights, which is in the Sacramento area, the report said. He reportedly drove 13 miles before he was stopped
