Police on Sunday are searching for a 5-year-old girl and her grandmother after they disappeared on the South Side on Saturday, police said.
The girl, Akira Lowe, was last seen with her 58-year-old grandmother Antionetta Anderson on Saturday in the 8200 block of South Racine Avenue in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, according to missing persons alerts issued by police
