DENVER — A woman was charged and remained in jail Tuesday night after allegedly bringing a gun to a middle school and menacing several students with it.
Monica Avila, 34, is being held on $50,000 bond after police say she confronted several students in the parking lot of Lake Middle School last week. She’s accused of pulling out a handgun during the confrontation.
Police arrested her near the school, which is located at 1820 N. Lowell Blvd.
