Police in Mobile describe it as a crime against one of the most defenseless people in society. An elderly woman was raped in her home on Glenwood Street over the weekend. Investigators are still looking for her attacker.
"It disgusts me and angers me, because this lady has lived in her house for sixty years, and now she's afraid. She has fear of living in her own house," said a neighbor and friend. "I'm so mad, you have no idea. It kills my soul." This person will remain anonymous for our story in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The victim is an 85-year-old woman, who police say was raped in her home on Glenwood Street by an intruder.
